What is the FAS Safe Pass Program?

With the purpose of ensuring that all construction site and local authority personnel have a basic knowledge of health and safety, the FAS Safe Pass program helps ensure that employees are able to perform job duties at a site without posing risks to themselves or others.

After completing a training program in safety awareness, participants will be registered in the FAS Safe Pass program and are given registration cards. This training must be updated every four years for a card to be renewed.

What are the goals of this program?

The goal of the program is to raise safety awareness in the industry of construction and to make sure all employees are trained in health and safety awareness, thus reducing the risk of accidents and health hazards. The program maintains records of participants in the program and issues employees a FAS Safe Pass card, indicating that the employee has attended health and safety awareness training.
