Searching for an apartment? Unless you are lucky enough to have a friend to crash with, your best option is probably to stay in one of the hostels or bed and breakfasts. An affordable short-term housing option, hostels range anywhere from €10 (for a shared dormitory room) and around €35 for your own room with shared bathroom. In Bed & Breakfast or a hotel, you will pay around €40+ for a night in your own room. Rooms closer to the core of the city boast higher rates, but venturing outside the city is not always the best option. A reduced hotel rate can also mean long hours and high prices traveling to the centre via bus.
