Moving from England - 2007/08/06 16:45 Hi me and my partner really want to move to ireland at the moment we're English and we live in england. Im a beauty therapist and my partner is a music teacher we're hoping to run our own business's. What do we have to do about moving to Ireland and starting our own business'?? Do we have to get visa's or work permits we really dont have a clue at the moment so any information would be greatly appreciated!!!

You do not need any kind of work authorization here as long as hold a british or EU passport
You are also free to move and set up a business in Ireland.
I believe you need to have a good business plan and some capital to start off.

Re:Moving from England - 2007/08/10 12:30 Doesn't matter where you are coming from really, as long as you are EU national. Same rules apply. The difference is that u need no passport or id to enter Ireland and you can vote on the elections. The rest is the same

Two years ago i have bought a car in london and i've changed the plates.
It doesn't cost too much for you.
